Italian Cypress Trees Cupressus Sempervirens 120/140cm 20 Litre: Often referred to as Mediterranean Cypress, Totem Trees, Pencil Conifers, Tuscan Cypress, Sempervirens Pyramidalis,  to name but a few... Growing tall but remaining narrow and evergreen they have become a popular choice for UK gardeners looking to create Mediterranean themed gardens, easy to grow and quick to establish, they require little or no pruning. Resistant to salt and and fully UK hardy to approximately -20 they are suitable for growing in all areas of the UK. Due to the narrow nature they are ideal for contemporary courtyard gardens in pots.

What to expect: Your plant will arrive with a minimum height above the pot of 120cm but in many cases taller, well established in 20 litre pots, if purchased in multiples we will send as close to matching plants as possible.

A low maintenance coniferous tree that once established requires little or no maintenance. whilst not originating form Italy they are now generally cultivated and associated with Italy in particularly Tuscany. Tolerant but not immune to drought conditions, for the first two years after planting whilst becoming fully established ensure the plant or plants have plenty of water and do not allow them to dry out for prolonged periods, even during wet spells ensure the surrounding area is still getting water,  and whilst not a necessity try adding a slow release fertiliser. When thinking of where to plant or position think Tuscany, somewhere nice and bright with lots of sunshine!
