

Blue Spruce Tree. Picea Pungens Erich Frahm 5 Litre 50-60cm. Erich Frahm a blue silvery coniferous tree. It is easily maintained and will cope easily with temperatures of below -30 they look equally as good in the depths of winter as they do in summer. This beautiful stately tree like our Picea Pungens Hoopsii is one of the the most eye-catching of the Colorado Blue Spruce cultivars. Its has long, thick, bright silver-blue needles and quite has rightly earned the reputation as an exceptional specimen tree, full pyramidal form and uniform deep silver-blue needle colour throughout the year. Relatively slow growing and reaching approximately 3 metres at maturity , due to its upright conical growth habit and stunning colouring it makes a beautiful choice for an outdoor Christmas tree that will look stunning during winter months, and a great centre piece for the summer.
What to expect: Your plant will arrive well established in a 5 litre pot, minimum delivered excluding the pot 50cm, exactly like the pictures.
Planting position: Best planted in a sunny spot and whilst it is not particularly choosy about soil it tends to do better in humus rich
Eventual Height and spread: In good circumstances upto 4 metres but around 3 metres is more the norm with a spread of around 1.5 metres.

Hardy: Yes down to -30 so suitable for even the coldest parts of the UK. Evergreen: Yes.
