Cherry Laurel Hedging Prunus Laurocerasus Rotundifolia 80/100cm 10 Litre: New 2021 pot grown spring stock. One of the most common hedges in the UK and its not difficult to see why, fast growing, 30 to 40cm per year, more in some cases, low maintenance and dark green glossy leaves. Ideal for planting in a range of areas from full sun to light shade in all soil types except waterlogged. Whilst these plants are low maintenance to get the best results we recommend feeding at least once a year preferably twice and to give them a good start in their new try adding a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote Pre Plant (Buy 10 or more plants to receive 1kg, enough for upto 20 plants, free. RRP £9.95), to keep the plants compact and bushy we suggest a light trim twice a year. To create a good dense hedge we recommend planting upto but not more than 2 plants per metre, this will not give you an instant hedge but will give a good effect immediately and give the plants room to mature.
