Phormium Tenax New Zealand Flax Plant 7.5 Litre:  Apricot Queen a more compact  relatively small variety of Phormium reaching heights of approximately 120cm with a spread of around 1.5 metres. Foliage is green edged with apricot coloured centres, with a touch of pink, similar in may ways to Phormium Tri-Colour, maybe a touch darker and not as much red.

Phormium originally from New Zealand,  are versatile evergreen plants that tolerate a range of conditions, they cope well by the seaside where other plants have failed and can look at home in a variety of different planting schemes, and will happily sit in large pots. In recent years they have become increasingly popular in the UK this is mainly due to the fact that they grow quick, are easy to maintain and there is a large choice of varieties and colours. Phormium make a a stunning centrepiece in a container, or an architectural specimen plant in the border either surrounded by coloured gravel or soil.

What to expect: Your plant will arrive in a 7.5 Litre pot approximately 60/80cm

Planting Position: Best planted in a sunny spot through to light shade partial shade, somewhere it can be seen and admired. Will do well in damp areas.

Soil: Will sit happily and adapt to most soil types does especially well in damp free draining damp soil heavy clay should be avoided.

Eventual height and spread: Typically 1.5 metres tall with a 2 metre spread.
