Euonymus Paloma Blanca 5 Litre: A beautiful dense evergreen shrub with oval glossy green leaves new growth is creamy with a hint of pink, ultimate height 75cm plus. This shrub can used as ground cover, to create a small formal hedge or as a specimen shrub, either in the ground or planted in a pot. Euonymus 'Paloma Blanca' will grow in any well-drained soil and prefer full sun they will tolerate partial shade but like other species this will effect growth rate and size at maturity also best sheltered from cold winds. It can be lightly trimmed after flowering, to keep the desired shape this is usually around late July. 

Planting position: Full sun through to partial shade.

Soil: Euonymus are an extremely versatile plant and will adapt to almost all ground types. Normal, chalk, sand, clay, loam, alkaline.

Suitable for container planting: Yes ideal for both container and ground either as a single specimen in a border or planted at 50cm intervals to create a low growing hedge

Eventual height and spread: 70cm x 70cm.

Growth speed: Slow.

Growth habit: Upright, bushy.

Flowering period: Not really a flowering plant as such but new growth on the tips are white, this creates a nice two-tone look and lasts for 3-4 months before turning dark green.

Pruning: Not really necessary, but tips can be pruned in early spring to create a more bushy habit.

Foliage: Dark green with new tips emerging white, before reverting to dark green.

Evergreen: Yes.

Winter Hardy: Yes

As already stated Euonymus plants are very versatile so an ideal choice for novice or reluctant gardeners. To help the plant get settled plant in a hole no deeper than the pot it is supplied in add 2-3 inches of compost or well rotted manure. Trim any damaged branches at any time of the year. Plant needs no special attention during the winter
