Heavenly Bamboo Plants Nandina Domestica 'Magical Summer' 3 Litre: A compact evergreen shrub, reaching heights at maturity of approximately 50cm, with a similar spread. Magical Sunrise, foliage is green at maturity but emerges copper coloured. The plant will enrich any outside space and can be used as a solitary specimen plant, or potted on the patio, due to its compact nature it can be used as an alternative ground cover plant or to make an attractive coloured low growing evergreen hedge. Young shoots are coppery orange ageing to green, small white attractive flowers are produced during summer months giving the plants an even more decorative appeal. Magical Sunrise is extremely hardy down to -15 and can be planted in all soil types as long as it is not to damp, if pot planted regular fertilisation and a good water supply during the summer months would be most beneficial. Whilst Nandinia Domestica plants are aslo known as known as Heavenly Bamboo plants the only connection they have with Bamboo plants is that they origanated from China.
