Photinia Pink Crispy 5 Litre: A surprising brand new variety that joins the ever growing Photinia genus. What makes this particular variety of Photinia so unique is it comes with a superb marbled foliage that has a splash of light green, it looks and feels slightly crispy.  It has only very recently been introduced to the Uk market and was in fact it was only introduced to wholesalers in the Netherlands in late August, where it won several awards. We came across it at a uk trade show in September 2015, and it immediately caught the eye, something new and something different, it actually won gold medal for best new plant and best display in show. This plant is a vigorous grower it has vivid red stems, new growth in spring is a stunning bright pink, our pictures were taken in January & February and new growth is plentiful, like other Photinia varieties it can be used for creating a hedge, standalone specimen or planted in a pot. The plant makes a graceful addition to a shrub border, in block or mass planting schemes or in mixed containers. It also makes a fine subject for hedging as a specimen on a balcony or terrace It will reach heights of 170-180cm with a spread of approximately 100cm. it is extremely hardy to -20,  disease tolerant and very easy to look after. For best results we recommend you plant in fertile soil, in full sun through to light partial shade. If pot planted ensure a good water supply in the warmer months
