Betula Jaquemontii Extra Heavy Standards Girth: 12/14 Rootball. Betula Utilis Jaquemontii Single Stem 450/500cm: Betula Jaquemontii more commonly referred to and known as White Western Himalayan Birch, whilst it is one of the most common white Birch trees it is common for a reason, it has the best coloured white bark. Our trees are pot grown, not field grown, they are not lifted from the fields and potted, this provides a strong root system and makes the chance of them failing virtually zero. The main attraction to the beautiful plants is the fantastic white bark, which develops as the tree and branches age, summer foliage is is dark green which contrasts well with white the bark, thus giving the tree year round interest. They are ideal for planting in a wide range of areas from the garden as a centre piece or in borders to create a woodland theme, they require virtually no maintenance and are fully hardy to -20.

Please take a look at Delivery and Returns tab for delivery options.

A tree that requires virtually no maintenance, its fully hardy and being a pot grown multi stem does not even require a stake. Can be planted in all soil types, it does best in a moist well drained area in full sun through to partial shade. Remove any winter damaged branches in spring.

Betula Utilis Jaquemontii is a vigorous deciduous tree reaching heights in good conditions of 10 metres plus, bark on the trunk and larger branches matures to brilliant white ovate leaves turn yellow in autumn; yellow-brown male catkins to 12cm long open in early spring.

Unfortunately the height of these plants makes it impossible for us to deliver them by courier and can only be delivered in one of our vehicles so we cannot deliver nationwide. As a rough guide we deliver to almost all destinations south of our nursery in the Cotswolds and upto approximately Manchester and Leeds if heading north. The Website will not take your order if you are outside of one of our delivery postcodes, this will be confirmed in the checkout and basket area when postcode is entered.

We may be able to deliver outside of one of our regular areas but by arrangement only.
