Betula Utilis Jaquemontii Multi Stem Heavy Grade: Multi-stem Betula Jaquemontii, also known as the Himalayan Birch or White Bark Birch, is a stunning tree species known for its distinctive white bark and multi-stemmed growth habit. It is a deciduous tree native to the Himalayan region, including northern India, Nepal, and Bhutan.

The multi-stem form of Betula Jaquemontii is a result of the tree's natural growth pattern. Instead of a single trunk, it develops multiple stems, creating a beautiful and eye-catching display. The slender stems often have a graceful, slightly cascading appearance.

One of the most striking features of Betula Jaquemontii is its brilliant white bark. The bark starts off as a pale grey when the tree is young and gradually transforms into a gleaming white as it matures. This stunning white bark provides year-round visual interest and contrasts beautifully against the surrounding landscape, particularly in winter when the tree is bare of leaves.

In addition to its attractive appearance, Betula Jaquemontii also offers other desirable characteristics. It has delicate, serrated green leaves that turn a vibrant yellow in the autumn, adding a splash of colour to the landscape. The tree produces small, inconspicuous flowers in spring, which are followed by tiny winged seeds that are dispersed by the wind.

Multi-stem Betula Jaquemontii is a popular choice for gardens, parks, and landscapes due to its striking beauty and versatility. It can be used as a focal point, in group plantings, or as a backdrop for other plants. Its multi-stem growth habit adds an architectural element to the landscape, making it a visually appealing choice for those seeking an elegant and unique tree.

A tree that requires virtually no maintenance, its fully hardy and being a pot grown multi stem does not even require a stake. Can be planted in all soil types, it does best in a moist well drained area in full sun through to partial shade. Remove any winter damaged branches in spring.
