Hydrangea Paniculata Wims Red 7.5 Litre Pot: Thanks to the early flowering nature the discolouration to red is more intense than with othr Hydrangea Paniculata varieties. Young branches are burgundy red and are beautifully contrasting with the mid to dark green foliage. The first white flowers appear approximately late May through to July, they discolour to light pink and dark red in September, for best colour plant in full sun.
Pictures taken late April, buds are just starting to show.
When should I prune back my Hydrangea:
We suggest waiting until Febrary/March when the frosts have gone. The dead flower heads will protect the plant over the winter months. When the frosts have finished cut it back by approximately a quarter and remove any weak or frost damaged shoots to the healthy wood.
