The Acer Negundo Flamingo Box Elder is a beautiful deciduous Acer. As the name suggest its foliage is variegated pinnate leaves that are pale green with pale pink edges that later turn cream through to a yellowish brown in Autumn. This particular Acer is prone to branches shooting from the base which can give it a shrub appearance. Its delicate colours are a perfect contrast to most garden shrubs and will be ideal as a feature point for the smaller garden.
What to expect. Your acer will arrive in a 5 litre pot and stand approximately 50/60cm tall excluding the pot. Foliage depends on the time of year purchased. Our photographs were taken in June 2016 here at the nursery,

Pruning: Pruning back hard in winter will encourage the vibrant colour of the foliage. Prune late winter or early spring.
A beautifully delicate Acer that will stand in contract to most other shrubs.
