This Skimmia requires a cool moist lightly shaded area, water and fertilise if pot planted. If pot planted ensure the pot or tub has no standing water around the base. For best results plant in neutral to acidic soli, or if pot planted ericaceous compost. Although Temptation is self fertile to get the very best try planting in an area with a male skimmia, such as Kew Green, Rubella or Fragrans. 

Skimmia Temptation will reach heights of approximately 60 cm. It does not need cutting back, It produces creamy white flowers during April and May and red berries from September onwards and throughout the Winter. It adds a touch of colour during winter months.
