Cornus Controversa aka the wedding cake tree. Supplied as pot grown trees in in 35 litre pots. For best results we recommend Cornus Controversa is not pruned the tree should be allowed to mature to allow its graceful shape to develop.

A beautiful addition to the garden Cornus Controversa Variegata develops over time into a large tree with heights at maturity upto 8 metres with a similar spread, keep this in mind when choosing a planting spot. Foliage is bright green with bold white margins, produces white flowers in June, these are more evident if plant in full sun, trimming should not be undertaken the wedding cake shape and tiered branches that develop over time, trimming will disrupt with the plants shape.
What to expect: These are well established plants in 35 litre pots standing at approximately 150cm+/- above the pot, please keep in mind these are still relatively young trees so whilst all stock is similar to the pictures they can be a little bit random so pictures should only be taken as an indication only.
A relatively maintenance free product. when planting try adding some well rotted manure to the planting area, this will help retain moisture Always ensure a good water supply whilst maturing.
