Large Cupressus Macrocarpa Goldcrest 200/250cm 35 Litre Well Established Plants: Cupressus Goldcrest also known as Monterey Cypress is a quick growing coniferous tree ideal for stand alone specimens or to create large hedge. These easily maintained evergreen trees are a super choice for golden Cupressus hedging they are quick growing upto 50cm per year, and relatively maintenace free, they can be easily trimmed to restrict height and density, this should be carried out late spring or early summer. Theoretically if planted in the correct soil and sunlight ( these plants thrive in full sun) these plants can reach in excees of 12 metres, but this is loing term and this type of height would only be acheived if conditions were perfect, and even then it would take upto 50 years, ultimate spread after 50 years would be in the region of 6 metres. For best results plant in full sun in well drained soil.
