Pieris Japonica Mountain fire 10 litre: Glossy brilliant red young leaves gradually turning coppery green, then finally dark green. In late spring, clusters of small creamy white urn shaped flowers. The fiery red young foliage of this upright evergreen shrub will add a splash of vivid colour to a shady shrub border or patio. The Pieris is a low maintenance shrub suitable for both the novice gardener through to the most seasoned.   

What to expect: Your plant will arrive planted in a large 10 litre pot with a height of approximately 35/40cm, excluding the pot. 

Planting position: Full sun through to partial shade

Soil: Suited to Loam and Sand, moist and well drained soil

Eventual height and spread: eventual height of 4 metres with a spread of 2.5 metres

Foliage: Young foliage is bright red, turning coppery green through to dark green.
