Pseudosasa Japonica or Arrow Bamboo is an extremely tough and versatile plant, it can be planted in shade right through to full sun in a south facing garden and unlike some other Bamboo is extremely tolerant of wind, it makes a good choice for positions in the garden where most other plants have failed. Planting Position: Can be planted almost anywhere in the garden in any part of the UK from full sun through to partial shade, even in exposed windy sites it will perform better than most other Bamboo varieties.
Soil: Any free draining damp soil, humus rich is the perfect choice, arrow Bamboo is an extremely versatile so will adapt to almost anywhere.
Suiatable for container planting: Yes ideal for container and ground planting, if container planting is preferred keep in mind the plant will need re potting approximately every 2 years.
