Large Ornamental Grass Miscanthus Gracillimus 5 Litre: Miscanthus Gracillimus a deciduous, compact clump formng perennial grass, upto to 1.5m tall at maturity. Gracillimus has narrow arching leaves with white midribs and purple tinged flower panicles in late summer. A fabulous architectural plant that will enhance any garden or outside space.
Please remember these plants should be cut almost to the ground in late winter so if purchased out of season you will receive what appears to be a very small plant, the picture was taken in September.

Miscanthus Gracillimus is a very low maintenance ornamental grass upto 1.5 metres at maturity with a spread of approximately 1 metre. Gracillimus is a perennial grass that will require cutting virtually back to the ground in late winter, after the worst of the weather. It can be cut as low as 10 cms or 4 inches from ground level and will still reach heights in excess of 1.2 metres plus annually.
The grass is happy in full sun with well drained, moist soil. During the winter months try to protect from excessive water
