Mixed Native Hedging trough (Includes Thorn, Hazel, Sloe and Maple).     Plants selected to provide a perfect enviroment for wildlife as well as creating a dense screen.

Trough hedging has been grown in a 1 metre long trough. The beauty of buying hedging in a trough is the plants have been trimmed regularly through the growing season, to allow a hedging unit to form. Not only do the plants knit together but so do the roots, which makes for a healthy hedge with a great success rate once planted.

Trough hedging can be planted at any time of year, although Autumn to Spring is the best time to plant.

Feed still within in the growing media will give nutrients to the plants well into the next growing season, for continued strong growth.

What to expect: Your trough will arrive planted in a 100cm long, 20cm width trough, it will have an overall height inclusive of pot of approximate 120cm. The trough is made up of Thorn, Hazel, Maple and Sloe.   We have included images taken now and in the Summer months.

Hedges play a crucial role in fostering biodiversity by serving as safe havens for various wildlife, including birds and insects. Apart from their ecological importance, they also provide an effective measure for improving privacy. Implementing robust hedging practices can potentially turn gardens into prosperous ecosystems, promoting overall environmental health.
