Miscanthus Malepartus is a very low maintenance ornamental grass upto 2 metres at maturity with a spread of approximately 1 metre. Malepartus is a perennial grass that will require cutting virtually back to the ground in late winter, after the worst of the weather. It can be cut as low as 10 cms or 4 inches from ground level and will still reach heights in excess of 1.2 metres plus annually.
