Pieris Japonica 'Variegata' 5 Litre: Variegated Lily of the valley shrub. Variegata as the name suggests comes with variegated green leaves. Elegant, creamy-white-edged foliage tops the list of charming traits for this shrub. Its flower buds decorate the plant until late winter, when short cascades of small, white bell shaped flowers appear. . Variegated lily of the valley is easy to grow, and can easily be trimmed into a compact bush so a good choice for gardens with limited space. Use it to brighten up a shady location or plant in a bright sunny spot. This is regarded as one of the best variegated cultivars of Pieris Japonica as it is resistant to sun damage and is the most cold hardy. For best results plant is acid soil or ericaceous compost.  Height and spread at maturity if left untrimmed is approximately 2 metres.

What to expect: Your plant will arrive planted in a large 5 litre pot with a height of approximately 40cm, excluding the pot. The pictures were taken March 2017.

Planting position: For best results light shade, but will tolertae full sun.

Soil: Acid or ericaceous compost moist and well drained.

Eventual height and spread: Approximately 2 metres with a similar spread

Foliage: Young foliage is red, maturing to variegated green and white.
