Amelanchier Lamarckii Multi Stem Two Size Options:  Amelanchier lamarkii, commonly known as Juneberry or Serviceberry, is a deciduous shrub or small tree that is native to Europe. It is highly regarded for its attractive spring flowers, vibrant autumn foliage, and small fruits.

This versatile plant typically reaches a height of 3 to 4 metres, with a similar spread making it suitable for both small gardens and larger landscapes. The Amelanchier lamarkii features an upright, multi-stemmed growth habit with a dense crown of branches.

In early spring, even before the leaves emerge, the Juneberry graces the landscape with a profusion of delicate white flowers. These blossoms, borne in clusters, have a star-like shape and give off a sweet fragrance. They are highly attractive to bees and other pollinators, making the plant a beneficial addition to any garden.

Following the flowering period, Amelanchier lamarkii produces small, round fruits that ripen in late spring or early summer. The berries start off green and gradually turn shades of red and purple when fully ripe. They are edible and have a sweet taste, often compared to blueberries. They can be used in a variety of culinary creations, such as pies, jams, and sauces, or enjoyed fresh off the tree.

Another notable feature of the Juneberry is its foliage. The leaves are oval-shaped and emerge in a bronze or copper colour, transitioning to a vibrant green during the summer months. In the autumn, they put on a spectacular show, turning shades of yellow, orange, and red, adding a burst of colour to the landscape.

Amelanchier lamarkii is relatively low-maintenance and adaptable to various growing conditions. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-draining soil. It is also known for its tolerance to different soil types, including sandy or clay soils.

Due to its attractive flowers, and stunning autumn foliage, Amelanchier lamarkii is a popular choice for ornamental landscapes and gardens. It can be used as a specimen plant, in mixed borders, or as a hedge. Its multi-season interest and ability to attract wildlife, such as birds and butterflies, make it a desirable addition to any garden
