This Mediterranean bred plant can be is an extremely variable in colour, habit and size with several different forms being recognised. Our Chamaerops variety is not the dwarf fan plam, it will grow into a considerable specimen upto 2.5 metres tall, with a large spread. They are extremely hardy and will withstand even the coldest parts of the UK, very little maintenance is required apart from removing any winter damaged branches in early spring, to assist your plant it should if possilbe be fed annually with a general purpose fertiliser.
