Miscanthus Sinensis Morning Light 10 Litre 80/100cm: Morning Light regarded as one of the best Miscanthus species for what is little more than an ornamental grass its characteristics are quite unique. It enjoys an exquisite vase shape appearance and its fine foliage sways gracefully even in the slightest of winds, foliage is slightly variegated giving the over all appearance, especially from distance of silver foliage. Morning Light blooms later than most other Miscanthus and displays tiny crimson/red plumes from late summer which can stay present throughout winter.
What to expect: A striking ornamental perennial grass that should be cut to 5/10cm from the ground in late winter preferably just before the growing season commences, please keep in mind if purchased February to late April you will receive what appears to be a very small plant.
