Our Shipment Process

Our Shipment Process

Our Shipment Process

From our Growers, to the Nursery, to You -

We work very closely with our growers and all of our plants are selected personally.  This ensures the excellent quality you expect.

Our growers share the same philosophy as us, quality plants, great service and fair prices.

When the plants arrive at the Nursery they are inspected by APHA, a requirement of being Plant Passport Holders, unloaded and put on to our irrigation systems.

Our Shipment Process

After you have placed your order our shipment process begins.

This involves preparing the plants for transit, matching, if plants purchased in multiples, and checking the plants overall condition.

At busy times our shipment process can take up to 10 working days.

We try wherever possible to deliver on one of our own vehicles, schedule in your delivery and give plenty of notice via email.

As a rough guide we deliver to almost all destinations south of our nursery in the Cotswolds and upto, approximately, Manchester and Leeds if heading north.

The Website will not take your order if you are outside one of our delivery postcodes, this will be confirmed in the checkout and basket area when postcode is entered.

We may be able to deliver outside of one of our regular areas but by arrangement only.

The shipment update is notice of the day that we will deliver, however the plants will not leave the nursery until the evening before delivery.

You can make changes to your order, or let us know if our drivers can leave your plants in a safe location by emailing or telephoning the Nursery.

If your order is being despatched via a courier, our warehouse team carefully package your order into boxes using recycled packaging.

It is important you keep the box in case of any problems.  Couriers will not collect plants without them being boxed.

Our couriers collect in the evening and your tracking information will go live when they have been received at the main depot.

We only despatch on an overnight service and your plants will be delivered the next day.

Although the delivery service is not timed we can always call you an hour before if we are delivering ourselves.

The couriers are given your contact number should there be a problem and they too will contact you.

We are happy to exchange or refund any item returned in a saleable condition, in its original packaging within 14 days.

Please note if you return the item because you have simply changed your mind you will not be refunded any postage costs.

Please bear in mind that plants look different depending on what time of year it is.

If you choose a nice leafy-looking deciduous shrub in the winter, remember it's going to turn up looking pretty bare. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it, just that it's out of season and will perk up when the weather does.

We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us. Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility.

If an item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value if the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.
